Hydrocarbon based diffusion pump oil is a working fluid for diffusion pumps to achieve high vacuum in a vacuum system. ‘VICO’ Diffusion pump oils are based on hydrocarbons which have been purified by double-distillation, capable of achieving 1×10−6 Mbar levels of vacuum in a system.

Silicone based diffusion pump oil is a working fluid for diffusion pumps to achieve high vacuum in a vacuum system. Silicone based diffusion pump oil can maintain a vacuum pressure of up to 1x 10-8 Mbar.
